The Pip Box is a cruelty-free and vegan beauty subscription box that can be delivered to your door monthly or as a one-off treat. I first had The Pip Box delivered in 2016 and I was so happy with the products inside. The company donates 10% of its profits to Animal Free Research UK which is fantastic; it’s good to know your purchase helps towards a good cause.
April’s box, the ‘Botanical Edit’ includes products inspired by flower power and floral scents which is perfect for the spring and summer seasons. Here is my April The Pip Box review.
Lucky Cloud Soothing Super Balm
First of all, how adorable is the name of this brand? This soothing super balm is another product which my skin is screaming out for.
The label says it is perfect for ‘dry, itchy and cracked skin’ so this looks perfect for when I’m having an eczema flare up. Its ingredients include sweet almond oil, vitamin E oil, shea butter and lavender.
The balm applies thinly and doesn’t require a lot of rubbing in like moisturisers sometimes do. The pot is a mini size of 15ml and I’ll be looking into buying another when it runs out.
Dr Botanicals Hemp Infused Moisturiser
I love Dr Botanicals products so I am very pleased that the Hemp Infused Moisturiser was included in the botanical edit of The Pip Box. I think we all need moisturiser a bit more than usual at the moment and this will be staying with me in the house all day long to give my skin the pick-me-up it needs.
Manna Kadar LIPLOCKED Priming Lipstick
I haven’t heard of the brand Manna Kadar before but I am excited to get using this. This lipstick has a built-in primer which makes the lipstick stay on your lips for longer.
The shade is called ‘Lotus’ which suits the botanical theme of this box perfectly. It is such a gorgeous, matte pink colour which is perfect for the summer season.
Ellovi Tinted Rose Lip Butter
This lip butter is just what I need for working from home. It’s a good way to feel a bit more made-up when you roll out of bed for your first virtual meeting of the day. It has a subtle rose tint which looks great with a neutral makeup look.
I always have about five lip balms on the go at once because I lose them constantly (does anyone else do this?). I’m determined to keep this one next to my bed so I remember where it is. I received a lip balm in my first Pip Box which you can read about here.
Natura Herb Infused Sheet Mask
I do love a good face mask! I usually go for a Lush face mask but I’m always on the look out for new brands to try. This Natura mask is filled with lovely herbs and vitamins to ‘rebalance your skin tone, reduce pores and brighten your complexion’. I’m looking forward to trying it!
The May edition of The Pip Box is looking great and is available to purchase as a subscription or one off box on the Pip Box website. The May edit is ‘Sweet and Simple’ which sounds just like my cup of tea.
What beauty subscription boxes would you recommend? Have you tried The Pip Box?
