Cruelty-free beauty and skincare is becoming more in demand by the day. The Pip Box is a cruelty-free beauty subscription box which you can subscribe to monthly or for three months. I went for the three month plan and received my first box, the March box, very recently. I was so excited to see what arrived inside and I have been introduced to many new cruelty-free brands already.
Miss Patisserie Bath Melt
Miss Patisserie is a brand I have heard of before but I never knew it was cruelty-free. Unfortunately, I don’t have a bath at university (I also have a pile of Lush products I need to use because of this!) so I will have to wait a couple of weeks until I go home to be able to use it. The scent is lovely and seriously, how could I ever use a bath melt that is so pretty?!
Maggie Anne 6 Toxin Free Gel Effect Nail Polish
I am so, so happy about the colour of this nail polish because I have been looking for a new cruelty-free, grey nail polish for a while and it’s pretty much fate that I got this colour in the March Pip Box. I haven’t ever heard of the brand Maggie Anne before, but I am definitely impressed!
Weleda Evening Primrose Day Cream
Day Cream is a product that I always forget to use – I have a fair few stacked up on my dressing table but they remain untouched. Therefore I’m really excited to try this day cream! It claims to ‘strengthen skin and provide antioxidant benefits’ which sounds like it is exactly what my skin needs. My skin is honestly awful at the moment, so anything to improve it!
Bee Good 2 in 1 Cream Cleanser
I love a good cleanser. My holy grail is the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish, but I am always open to trying new ones. This 2 in 1 Cream Cleanser is by a brand called Bee Good, which again I haven’t heard of before. It contains honey and propolis, known for being antibacterial, to remove your makeup and keep your skin looking lovely.
Bee Good Vanilla & Honey Lip Balm
Hands up if you’re like me and always have dry lips! Lip care is something I tend to completely forget about and neglect. I was so in need of a new lip balm, which made me super happy to see another Bee Good product inside the box. This is the Vanilla & Honey Lip Balm which has honestly worked wonders over the past couple of weeks.
The applicator reminds me of lip gloss I used to wear back in year seven but it is so easy to wear on the move. It’s a 10ml tube which fits in any pocket or handbag.
The Pip Box is such a great way to try some new cruelty free products. If like me, you just needed a subscription box in your life or you’re thinking about transitioning to being cruelty free, then definitely subscribe. There’s monthly subscriptions available and three month subscriptions available. I definitely got my money’s worth this month!
You can read more about The Pip Box here, which was actually named after the owner’s puppy! They also donate 50p from every box to an animal charity, which is just another reason to support small businesses and go cruelty free.
