*Garnier is not a cruelty-free brand and this post was wrote before I went cruelty-free. I now use the Superdrug micellar water which is confirmed cruelty free by cruelty free international.
How on Earth is it March already?! This year is absolutely flying by, but at least it’s Easter soon! About a month ago I saw that suddenly people were horrified at the thought of using makeup wipes as a way of removing makeup. My skin was particularly bad this time a month ago and I wanted to try anything to make it improve – so I swapped my Superdrug makeup wipes for Garnier Micellar Water. I picked this up on offer at Superdrug for £3.29 in a 400ml bottle, but they also do handy 125ml sized bottles perfect for travelling with.
How I use Garnier Micellar Water…
I use this as my first cleanse with a few cotton pads and 2 to 3 drops of micellar water. I take this across my eyes and then I use a new one to remove my face makeup. It removes my eye makeup quite well (and I wear A LOT of it) and doesn’t hurt my eyes like a lot of makeup wipes do. I have sensitive skin too and this product hasn’t worsened or caused a reaction at all – which is great for me! Garnier also do a sensitive and combination skin micellar water so I’ll be giving that a go when I’ve eventually ran out of my 400ml bottle.
My skin has improved SO MUCH since using this Garnier Micellar Water and I’d highly recommend it to anyone who wants help to clear up their skin. It’s worked wonders on mine and I’m only just having a tiny breakout now after weeks of nothing – it’s a great cleanser to try if you have regular breakouts like I do. It’s also great to refresh your skin in a morning.
What do you think of Garnier Micellar water? Which other micellar water would you recommend?
