So I haven’t posted for over a week, oops! I’m back at university in Leicester and I had a lovely catch up with my friends over the weekend. I had a great three weeks at home in Sheffield over Christmas and I was so sad to leave but I’m really happy to be getting into a routine again! My lecture this morning included clips of Disney – so not a bad start! I hope your first week back at university goes well and if you’re at college/school you’re settling back in!
Makeup Revolution Eye Shadows
I recently picked up two Makeup Revolution eye shadow palettes from Superdrug for £4 each – £4! I was SO happy to buy these because it’s been such a long time since I’ve refreshed my eye shadow collection.
The first palette I picked up is the Redemption Palette Essential Mattes 2 and it is perfect for daytime wear. The eye shadows blend together so well and this was such a bonus for me because I can be TERRIBLE at blending sometimes! It has all the nude and brown shades you could want from a basic eye shadow palette.
The second palette I purchased was the Redemption Palette Essential Day to Night. This definitely lives up to the name: it includes shades similar to the first palette I bought but with more shimmer, and darker shades with a striking cyan colour at the end. (Maybe I’ll be daring one day?) I’m excited to use this palette for night time events and nights out by creating a smokey (or smoky, who knows) eye with the darker shimmery shades.
I hope you enjoyed this post & let me know what you think of Revolution Makeup if you’ve tried it because I would like to try some more products!
My friend suggested I do a tutorial sometime, would anyone be interested?
