I had an AMAZING time at the Lush Spring blogger event at Lush Sheffield. Luckily I came home from university this week due to it being reading week and I’m so happy I did. I was really anxious and worried before the event but I’m really, really glad I pushed myself to go, I would have been kicking myself now!
First we had ‘Lush Cocktails’ and the lovely member of staff (I’m so terrible at names!!) recommended quick and luxurious combinations of the Lush shower products. I ended up getting the Sugar Scrub Body Scrub to exfoliate my skin because this is something I don’t do – oops! I also got the It’s Raining Men Shower Gel which smells amazing! It’s described as ‘sweet, softening gel for honey scented hair and skin’. I only got the 100g bottle of this just to try but I’m sure I’ll regret it and end up buying the larger bottle anyway.
Next we made our own bubble bars! The aim of this was to get it to look like The Comforter and mine definitely didn’t, I sort of mashed the two colours together and hoped for the best! I’m really excited to use this as I love The Comforter scent. It’s also HUGE and will definitely be my go-to bubble bar for a while!
Skincare was next on the agenda and I decided to pick up the Cupcake face mask. My friend always uses Lush face masks and I’ve been absolutely dying to try one over the past few months. This is described as ‘Chocolate heaven for oily and teenage skin’ which is definitely what I have at the moment. I also picked up the Frozen Bath Bomb because one of the lovely girls I met recommended it and I forgot to try it over Christmas!
I also received a bag of Lush goodies at the end of the Lush Spring Blogger event which was super lovely of them! I’ll do another post soon (this one was full of photos, oops) talking about the products I got! I’m so grateful that I got invited to this event, I met so many lovely bloggers and I really enjoyed learning more about Lush as a brand too!
