I am so happy to have the Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette. I’ve had this palette for way over a month now and it’s definitely about time I did a review! The packaging is absolutely beautiful, with both the box and covered in the colour peach going from a strong to weak gradient. The palette itself is metal and closes using a magnet which just feels so lovely to open and close. I know it isn’t going to pop open in my bag!
One thing that Too Faced palettes are known for, such as the Chocolate Bar palettes, is their scents. The Sweet Peach palette does not disappoint! It genuinely smells like peaches and fruit, it is so lovely! When I first opened it I must have been admiring it for at least ten minutes (don’t lie, you did it too). It also came with a small booklet with three eye looks to create from the palette if you’re unsure where to start.
Inside the palette there is a small mirror, not as big as the mirror inside the Fortune Favours the Brave palette, but it is still a good enough size to work with. This also makes it great for travelling and applying makeup on the go. It says ‘Sweet Peach’ underneath the mirror with the cutest image of a smiling peach. Adorable!
The shades in this palette range from pale and neutral brown shades, to the obvious peach shades, and then some green and purples. There is a good mix of matte and shimmery shades in this palette but I am slightly disappointed with the lack of peach coloured shades, given the name of this palette. However, I still absolutely love it and it is very wearable from day to night! The eye shadows are very blendable and easy to apply making it easy to create a number of different looks.
The shades on the first third of the palette (first and second columns) are White Peach, Nectar, Peaches ‘N Cream, Luscious, Cobbler and Georgia. These are some of the most neutral shades in the palette making it perfect for day wear. White Peach is a perfect inner eye highlight and I absolutely adore Cobbler blended into my crease.
The middle six shades of the palette are Just Peachy, Candied Peach, Caramelized, Bless Her Heart, Bellini and Puree. This is by far my favourite section of the palette. It’s so beautiful. Just Peachy, Candied Peach and Bellini fit the theme of ‘Sweet Peach’ perfectly.
I recently created a look using the three of these shades, with Candied Peach blended at the top of my eye, with Bellini on the inner side of my eye. And Just Peachy on the outer side (with Luscious blended in there too!) and it was so lovely.
Finally there is Tempting, Peach Pit, Summer Yum, Charmed I’m Sure, Delectable and Talk Derby to Me. This section has some of the darker shades in the palette, especially Tempting. From this section I mainly use Summer Yum and Charmed, I’m sure because they’re more neutral. The shade Talk Derby To Me is SO pretty though… I definitely need to be more daring!
This was the first time I’ve purchased a Too Faced product; I’ll definitely be getting more from them soon! Let me know if you have any other suggestions of Too Faced products. Also I really wanted to do swatches of this palette for you but I am awful at taking photos of them, sorry!
Did you get the Sweet Peach Palette? What else are you loving right now?!
