I was so impressed with last month’s Birchbox and I couldn’t wait to open the March Birchbox. The box design itself features a beauty style wordsearch which I think is a really cute and fun idea – I haven’t done it yet but I bet I’ll definitely try it when I’m trying to procrastinate from doing my university assignments, oops! There are two lovely full sized items in this box and four samples – all which are a handy travel size also.
Here is my March Birchbox 2016 review with information about all of the products I received in my box this month!
The first item I got is the BOOST Colour Enhancing Lipbalm from the new Birchbox brand Arrow. The RRP of this is £11, and to say the box itself cost £12.95 that’s pretty good! This lipbalm says it will adjust to your Ph and enhance your natural lip colour which sounds perfect for when you get caught out on a no makeup day and have to go out! It’s also vegan and cruelty free which is always lovely to hear from a brand.
The second full sized product I got in my March Birchbox was from a brand called ModelCo called More Brows. I’ve tried this a couple of times now and I still use powder to fill in my eye brows too. It makes them fuller and claims to use ‘hair-like particles’ but I can definitely tell a difference.
I then got an Amika Nourishing Mask – I’ve never used a hair mask before so I’m looking forward to trying this one! My hair is painfully covered in split ends and this promises to eliminate just that. It’s full of vitamins and omegas which is just what you want on your head with none of the harmful stuff! I think I’ll be using this when I’m back at home so I can have a bath and use my new Lush products too!
The next thing I got in the March Birchbox was the Hydraluron Moisture Boosting Mask. I’m already doing about 4 face masks a week at the moment because I have two from Lush I need to use but what’s the harm in having another! I think I need to update my profile because my skin definitely isn’t dry at the moment, but it will come in useful for sure.
Next in my March Birchbox 2016 review is the Polar Night Cream by Polaar. I recently purchased my first night cream EVER (I know, I know) and I love having this as a part of my skin routine. This product also claims to ‘react to the moon’ which I think is quite interesting but unlucky for me. I rarely sleep with my curtains open or underneath the stars for that matter! The packaging of this is lovely and I’m so sad it’s only a 25ml sample!
Finally I got Regenerate Enamel Science Toothpaste. Yeah, toothpaste. This is a bit of a random one but I guess you can never have too much toothpaste, right? It says it reverses the first signs of enamel erosion – I probably won’t use this until my current toothpaste has ran out, not fussed!
That’s my March Birchbox 2016 Review! What did you get in your box?
