It wouldn’t be Blogmas if I didn’t talk about my favourite cruelty-free festive lipsticks. Lipstick can make or break a makeup look, so choosing the right shade is crucial. At Christmas, red lipstick is the clear choice and there are many different options available to help you rock that Christmas party.
These are all cruelty-free too, so you can be sure that no animals were harmed in the process! Here are four of my favourite cruelty-free festive lipsticks, all under £6!
MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquer – ‘Reckless’
I’ve had the MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Laquer in the shade Reckless for so long. It was the first ever liquid lipstick I tried and it is definitely a contender. It’s a Christmas party staple which lasts all day without smudging or wearing off. It’s £3.00 and is available from Superdrug.
Kiko Milano Unlimited Stylo Long Lasting Lipstick – ‘Poppy Red’
The Unlimited Style Long Lasting Lipstick in the shade Poppy Red definitely does what it says on the tin. If I am out all day and looking for a lipstick I won’t need to reapply, this is the one I’ll go for. The packaging is sleek and pretty, and looks gorgeous on a dressing table. It is quite a bright red but perfect for Christmas!
Kiko Luscious Cream Lipstick – ‘Sensual Red’
The Kiko Milano Luscious Cream Lipstick in the shade ‘Sensual Red’ is one of my favourite lipsticks of all time. I picked it up in February for £2.00 in the sales and I’m so happy I did. It is the perfect festive, bright red. It doesn’t dry out my lips at all and it doesn’t feel like I have any lipstick on when I’m wearing it!
Seventeen Stay Pout – ‘Infared’
I recently purchased the Seventeen Stay Pout lipstick in the shade ‘Infared’. It cost £5.49 which is the most expensive from these picks, which I think is pretty crazy! The shade Infared is a gorgeous dark red and will take you from day to night with ease.
