I was in Superdrug the other day searching for a Makeup brush cleanser and I came across B. Makeup’s Makeup brush cleanser spray for £5. It comes in a travel sized 125ml bottle which is perfect for me because I regularly travel back and forth from university. B Makeup also do a larger bottle of this for £10 that also comes with a cloth, but I opted for this one to try it out first! The B. Makeup range is cruelty free too!
B. Makeup Brush Cleanser: Review
This method of brush cleansing is much easier than standing in the bathroom with the tap running for 15 minutes. I managed to do this while sitting at my desk no problem! All you need is the cleanser and a few tissues (one for each brush!) or a cloth.
You simply spray the cleanser onto the makeup brush 2-3 times and massage it into the bristles using your hand. You can then take off the excess makeup using a tissue/cloth – easy! It’s also anti-bacterial which is a must for a makeup brush cleanser. I’m going to spray this on my brushes every other day if I don’t have time to clean them properly. It is great for a quick pick-me-up for your brushes!
It made such a difference! I’ve been using shampoo to clean my makeup brushes for as long as I can remember, so I would definitely recommend this. It’s a lot quicker! If you’re like me and can’t ever be bothered to put aside a lot of time for cleaning brushes then this will be a life saver. I’ve also seen a lot of people blogging about the Real Techniques Brush Cleansing Palette so I may have to give that a try at some point too!
